She is the most successful female climber in German history, having ascended seven of the world’s eight-thousanders without the assistance of artificial oxygen.

Alix attempted Makalu (8,485m) in 2010 but had to turn back due to extreme cold. However, she successfully scaled Cho Oyu (8,188m) later that year.
In 2011, Alix conquered Broad Peak (8,051m) via the west ridge and west flank.
She also achieved ascents of Shishapangma (8,027m) in 2012 via the north ridge and Manaslu (8,163m) twice, using the northeast flank and ridge.
